“In a world where…” Don LaFontaine passes

Movie trailers are a big part of how people watch films, and for many – the voice of Don LaFontaine has been the guide into new cinema. Mr. LaFontaine passed away Monday, and while he was often parodied, spoofed, and lampooned – it was never out of disrespect. He was the best of his kind, a man who made film interesting with those few worlds: “In a world.” Well, “In a world without Don LaFontaine, movie trailers were never the same.” He will be missed by many.     I will miss him. When I think of trailer voice over I always though of him. I will deeply miss him and his awesome voice. Yes it did inspire awe in me.
