Paul Newman passes on

One of my favorite actors, the prolific Paul Newman, has died. This is a very sad loss of an actor who was still an amazing performer in modern film. From “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid” to “The Hustler” to “The Color of Money” to “The Sting” to “Slap Shot” to “Cool Hand Luke” to “Road to Perdition” to “Hombre” to “Silent Movie” to “The Verdict” to my favorite Newman performances in the mini-series “Empire Falls” and as the voice of Doc Hudson in Pixar’s “Cars” it was always a privilege to watch him on the screen. I will miss him terribly and need to go out tonight and get some salad dressing.
